Soziale und kognitive Orientierung in einer computergestützten kooperativen Lernumgebung

Zusammenfassung

Es wird ein Ansatz zum computergestützten kooperativen Lernen (CSCL) verteilter Gruppen vorgestellt. Das Problem der sozialen und kognitiven Orientierung bei örtlich verteilten Lernern wird durch eine Benutzungsschnittstelle, die auf der Kombination der Metapher virtueller Räume mit der visuellen Repräsentation sozial konstruierten Wissens beruht, angegangen. Virtuelle Räume strukturieren die Lernumgebung in Analogie zu Räumen der wirklichen Welt; sie bilden Grenzen zwischen sozial und thematisch getrennten Bereichen und stellen spezifische Funktionalitäten je nach Typ des virtuellen Raums zur Verfügung. Eine Visualisierung des in kooperativen Lernprozessen gemeinsam konstruierten Wissens durch sogenannte Lernnetze soll die kognitive Orientierung erleichtern. Virtuelle Räume und Lernnetze zur Repräsentation gemeinsamen Wissens bilden die Kernkomponenten eines in Entwicklung befindlichen Prototypen.

Abstract

An approach for computer supported cooperative learning (CSCL) of distributed groups is presented. The problem of social and cognitive orientation of geographically distributed learners is approached by a user interface, which combines the metaphor of virtual rooms and the visual representation of socially constructed knowledge. Virtual rooms structure the learning environment analogous to rooms in the real world; they provide boundaries between socially and thematically separate regions and provide specific functionalities depending on the type of room. A visualisation of the shared knowledge space constructed during cooperative learning proces-ses through so called learning nets is designed to enhance cognitive orientation. Virtual rooms and knowledge nets for representing common knowledge are the core components of a prototype currently being implemented.
