Abstract

A Natural Language Querying System is presented (NL-SIIUE). It enables the access to the Universidade de Évora Information System (SIIUE) heterogeneous databases.

Dialog management is essential for the correct interpretation of the user’s intentions and to answer accordingly. Following the ISCO language guidelines, in which NL-SIIUE development is based on, some basic principles of dialog management are described and discussed.
