Abstract

Multi-agent applications are expected to take an important role in the future of e-business applications. However, security for multi-agent applications has become a critical issue. Unfortunately, effective security technologies often tend to require considerable computational and network resources, leading to scalability issues. Thus, scalability of the security technologies is a vital issue when developing practical agent-based applications. In this paper, we present the results of measurements of implementation of various security technologies operating in the JADE multi-agent platform.
