Abstract

The recent advances toward mobility enhanced services and infrastructures require new conceptual solutions for the underlying management plane. This paper investigates an extension to the standard management framework based on a new access control mechanism. We propose a policy based approach for an agent side access control. We integrate the policy specifications and management information (MIB) within the recently proposed Structure of Management Information Version framework.
