Abstract
The present paper describes the way we participated in the French track of CLEF-2002. We used a morphological analyser and a syntactic chunker in order to disambiguate words and to filter out certain categories of words. We then built a global index using the Lucene Indexor. For the search process, we wrote boolean queries manually and tested them using the Lucene query evaluator.
