Abstract
We propose a novel feature-based image registration method using both the local and global structures of the feature points. To address various imaging conditions, we improve the local structure matching method. Compared to the conventional feature-based image registration methods, our method is robust by guaranteeing the high reliable feature points to be selected and used in the registration process. We have successfully applied our method to images of different conditions.
