Zusammenfassung
Die möglichst genaue Lokalisierung von Gewebeproben im Prostatavolumen ist wichtig für die Diagnose und Therapieplanung von Prostatakarzinomen. In diesem Artikel wird ein Segmentierungsverfahren zur Erkennung der Biopsienadel in klinischen TRUSAufnahmen vorgestellt. Das Verfahren basiert auf einer multivarianten statistischen Klassifikation und konnte in 94% der 1835 Bilder aus 30 Biopsien unterschiedlicher Prostataregionen erfolgreich angewandt werden.
