Abstract
In this paper, we put forward a generalized decision logic language (GDLL) for information tables. The language is a generalization of the decision logic language (DLL) proposed by Z. Pawlak. Although it is an effective logic tool for analyzing the data in information tables, the DLL has a disadvantage in analyzing the data in inconsistent information tables. As an improvement of the DLL, the GDLL extends the range of the truth values of logic formulas from 0 and 1 to the interval [0, 1], which considers the degree of a logic formula’s being true. The decision rules obtained from decision tables have the truth values that represent the credibility degrees of the decision rules by using the GDLL. Therefore, the GDLL is useful for dealing with the data in inconsistent information tables.
