Abstract

In order to provide diverse users an integrated, scalable and easy-to-use interface to manage and exploit the dynamically growing learning resources on the Web, this paper proposes a semantic resource management framework to support the effective organizing and accessing of learning re-sources in an open environment. By exploiting the semantic relationships that characterize learning resources and user profile, the framework supports both semantic querying and conceptual navigation of learning resources pertaining to specific topics. A system has been developed and deployed within an academic setting to improve the resource management and exploitation for cooperative research.
