Abstract

Multimedia is a keyword in the evolving information age of the 21st century. In this paper, we propose a network management agent that includes congestion control and QoS control algorithms. Simulation results indicate the superior performance of our proposed agent to strike the appropriate performance balance between contradictory QoS requirements under widely varying diverse network traffic loads.

This research was supported by the Sogang University, under the 2006 new faculty support program.
