Abstract

In this article we demonstrate the application of a linguistic model of d/r-scripts to simulate the speech behaviour of artificial agents in virtual emotional situations. We apply the model to animate speech behaviour of a virtual agent for a term of about 10-30 seconds. This behaviour can be controlled by short emotional states, expressed in communication - microstates.
