Summary

This paper presents a case study about deployment process and shows the results of the deployment processes on five software development and maintenance sites of one organization. This paper focuses on the deployment process elements, critical success factors and impact on the process. It highlights the importance of having an effective deployment process strategy for the organizational processes to be used, adopted and institutionalized. It also presents the level of acceptance and use of these software processes. Finally, the lessons learned during the deployment process are presented.
