Abstract
Research on reinforced foams is getting heating, but the theoretic models of short fiber reinforced foams are still incomplete. This paper will discuss how a Random Sequential Adsorption Algorithm combines with a single tetrakaidecahedron of closed cell foams. As a result of research, a finite element numerical random analysis model will be set up. The model is used to compute the Young’s modulus, strain and stress of the short fiber reinforced foams. The simulation results show that it is useful for advancing theories of the reinforced foams.
