Abstract

The pipeline cleaning is an important method to improve the use efficiency of the pipeline. The traditional cleaning methods, such as manual cleaning, chemical cleaning and mechanical cleaning, can not meet the need of cleaning the pipe well. Due to the advantages such as high cleaning efficiency and low cleaning cost and easy to realize mechanization and convenient operation and safe and reliable, etc. The high pressure jet cleaning was used widely in recent years. However, it is a challenge for workers to work in the high pressure environment. In view of this, the method of combining the high pressure water jet cleaning technology with the robot technology is presented in the paper. In addition, the research on the crucial method of the robot which has important significance in the further research and development of the pipeline cleaning robot has been studied in the paper.
