Abstract

Being one of the important factors of evaluation in management networks, availability of a management system is a point of our focus. However this issue is evaded in the researches conducted on P2P management systems. In this paper, we investigate critical object data availability in peer to peer management networks from an analytical point of view. We show that time-based availability calculations gives more insights on availability when one is to design a management network, but while the system is online and working, presence-based availability would help to estimate the status of the management network more sensibly.
