Abstract
This paper has analyzed the contribution of China’s export of horticultural products to the growth of agricultural economy by augmented aggregate production function and externality effects model. The results indicate that (1) the output elasticity of export of horticultural sectors is 0.08, the contribution of the export to the growth of agricultural economy is 12.16%, (2) the export sector leads to externality effects and promotes agricultural economic growth indirectly.
