Abstract
We present an approach by combining agent technology and SIP technology to develop complex telecommunication applications. Our approach is to encapsulate telecommunication applications as software agents, to create and control the communication sessions between agents based on SIP protocol, and to build a bridge between SIP technology and agent technology. We have developed an agent-oriented platform called JadexT by extending Jadex. An example is studied to illustrate our approach.
