Abstract
Interactive multiview video application with the immersive viewing experience and flexible interaction technology will be the promising entertainment form in the future. Interactivity is another important parameter besides rate-distortion performance in multiview video coding (MVC) scheme design and optimization. In this paper, we present an interactivity evaluation model by random graph method and structural complexity evaluation model by dependency function. Detailed analyses and experimental results show that the interactivity of multiview video application can be linearly predicted by the structural complexity. The linear prediction relationship indicates that the interactivity of MVC scheme can be analyzed by the structural complexity, and it is helpful for future multiview video application designers.
