Abstract

This paper presents a time bounded real-time agent, the core of a Multi-agent System aimed at managing the security in manufacturing environments, where time constraints are a key factor. The time bounded real-time agent integrates a novel case-based planning mechanism. The planning mechanism uses past experiences to generate new plans and focuses in optimizing the industrial and manufacturing processes, and more concretely the tasks performed by the available personnel focusing on the automatic temporal bounded reorganization of tasks. This study describes the new agent and presents a case study where the agent is applied to a real scenario.
