Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide a 3D and real-time video system for monitoring the status of the residences through the Internet anytime and anywhere. With the traditional method, many monitors are usually needed simultaneously to display different corners but it is inconvenient for users whose devices are cell phones only. Therefore, to integrate the mobile communication system with the algorithm of 3D image system, we design a system to monitor the status of the residences. By rotating the monitor, this system allows users to monitor different corners and nooks in a house by one single monitor and ensure the safety of the residences.
