A Neural Network Model for Evaluating Mobile Ad Hoc Wireless Network Survivability

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Computer Science ((LNTCS,volume 6064))

Abstract

Due to the self-organized, unstable features of MANET, how to ensure the survivability of it becomes more and more important. This paper proposes a survivability evaluation model for MANETs. A Monte Carlo simulation algorithm and an Artificial Neural network computing model are also proposed to calculate the survivability of MANET based on the survivability evaluation model. Computational results show that the ANN model is an effective approach to evaluate the survivability compare with MC method.
