Abstract
The improvement of load capacity for planet gear is not only about choosing the reasonable meshing angle, but also about the reasonable distribution of modification coefficient. That is to say, the optimal choosing of the external gearing modification coefficient for planet gear should be seen as a two-variable optimization problem. Based on this theory, this paper discusses how to choose the optimal modification coefficient for external gearing planet gear.
