Abstract

With the extending of working years, the old automation system trouble ratio raise greatly. Accordingly, the maintenance cost rise higher. The network speed can’t satisfy the new production requirement. It has significant meaning to update the old system to fit the requirement of production and reduce the cost and extend its working life with the lowest devotion in the shortest time. This system will be updated based on the old AB PLC5 control system. We have done a great amount of experiments to update the old system necessarily. It has universal significance to similar system case.
