Abstract
Software-tutors like intelligent tutoring systems generate lots of student log-data. However making sense of this data is often difficult, because of the quantity generated. EDM Vis is a visualization tool for interacting, exploring and navigating software-tutor log-data, so educators can see what students are doing, and how they are doing it. New methods for clustering similar solution-approaches of students need to be developed so researchers can make better sense of what students are doing, in turn improving software-tutor log-data visualizations and intelligent tutoring systems.
