Abstract
The implication of emergence of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is to avoid human victim risks and to gain lower costs from real-scale of aerial vehicles. Visual aid in UAV is one of the important elements that allow pilots to control them from the ground. Yet, some other experts are still using 2D graphics to visualize UAV movements which limits the pilot in a single expression. However, many experts are still doing research on UAV regarding its better visualization technique, autonomous system, GPS synchronization, precision on telemetry and image processing. In this paper, we present an alternative methodology the development of real-time feedback visualization from UAV and 3D Graphical User Interface (GUI) control. It is transmitting feedback of UAV movements through the surveillance camera by installing tilt sensor on UAV model and receiving real-time environment of First Person View (FPV) of aircraft’s pilot. It is aimed in low-cost development and coming with 3D graphic environment and the interface uses DirectX SDK as graphics engine. With 3D view, pilot will be easier to obtain feedback of UAV which visualizes 3D mesh of UAV model.
