Abstract

Learning is not only about knowledge acquiring but also about thinking skill gaining and polishing. Computer related learning was somehow limited to the capacity of technology for a long while and was often imputed by educators for its lower end learning such as information conveying or simply drill & practice. As the maturing of communication technology supporting hybrid learning which makes a good teaching-learning integration possible and anticipated, a better practice of teaching is expected without too much limitation from the technological tool itself. Higher-order thinking and learning is one of the main concerns about hybrid learning when coming into the instructional design and teaching strategy. This paper is a review on applying higher-order thinking skill into e-learning course for teachers of higher and adult learning institution.
