Abstract
Lack of financial innovation in China’s rural areas has restricted rural economic development seriously. This thesis analyzes the characteristics of China’s rural finance, the features and current situation of innovation, as well as the factors hindering innovation. Furthermore, based on foreign exemplary, countermeasures and suggestions are proposed on advancing rural financial innovation in China, which include constructing financial innovation mechanism oriented by the market, impelling multi-level financial innovation, actively cultivating talents of financial innovation, creating favorable environment for innovation, and so on.
