Abstract
A general process about modeling the perception, attention, decision-making behaviors of cockpit pilot processing alarm was proposed. Based on information process stage model and ACT-R theory, modeling was combined with description about modeling tasks of processing alarm, cognitive behavior of pilot and operational components. A serial of fundamental experiments of specific operational tasks were developed to support modeling. Validity and exactitude of the model was proved through matching the model perform those tasks with pilot practice. The modeling aim was to improve flying safety.
