Abstract
Dealing with the absence of active direction ability of independent wheel-set of 100%LFLRV, in this paper are presented the kinetic equation and the force condition of the wheel-set. Combined with the flux-oriented control strategy of traction motor, this paper analyzes the principles of direction and proposes a novel active direction control scheme with the detection of torque difference of the left and the right traction motors, embedding direction control into traction control. In the last part, a Matlab/Simulink model is built and is subjected to, for the test of the strategy proposed.
