Abstract
Red coefficient of an apple could provide an important basis for apple classification. The HSI color model expressed color information of apple. By setting an appropriate H value, the red region could be extracted, and when it comes to the red coefficient of an apple, pixel transformation method was adopted. Experiments showed that the precision and velocity of the method were satisfying.
