Abstract
Video teaching platform was the product from the development of network environment and network technology, it had wide application prospect. According to the requirement of network teaching platform, Audio/Video Data transmission, control and Java Media Framework (JMF) technology was analyzed, then Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP), Real-time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP) and programming mechanism of JMF RTP was discussed. In practice, the teaching platform was used well.
