Abstract
Personnel education in the field of information science has reached a considerable scale in Chinese universities and colleges, but there exists a contradiction between higher education and market requirement, many graduates from higher school don’t meet the demands of enterprises. This contradiction is investigated according to recent data from human resource markets and government departments. In order to make information science educations to cater to social requirements, trends of information industry in recent years in China are discussed; the composition of human resource in this industry is investigated, and some solutions to overcome the contradiction are suggested.
