Abstract
Based on TI OMAP3530 processor development platform, Ångström desktop environment and an embedded web browser are ported, and an audio/video plug-in are designed, which can supports MP3, MPEG2/4, AVI, and H.264 data streams playback online. This player fully take advantage of the OMAP3530 dual-core features, which use DSP core to decode the audio/video data streams, ARM core to manage and control the system. Experiments show that player has low power consumption, high speed, and stable operation characteristics.
