Abstract
Paper concerns implementation of DYSONAPPTM system as a method of increasing traffic safety on rail-road level crossing and pedestrian crossings. This solution is dedicated for non guarded railway level crossings (without barriers or light signals). System, similarly to road signs of variable message (VMS), warns in a visual and audible way the road users (drivers and pedestrians) on approaching train. The innovation of the system appears in a technical solutions, but also in assignment to road safety equipment, that makes possible its purchasing and installation by local governments interested in increasing safety, not only by railway infrastructure owners.
