Abstract

The reuse of metadata in open environments where content can be shared is a challenge. The Internet is undergoing major changes as the vision of objects publishing content (Internet of Things) gives birth to a new paradigm where the amount of data, metadata, and paradata about digital objects will exceed whatever our current systems are ready to deal with. We propose to bridge two semantic models currently proposed for the Future Internet: Content Objects and Content Centric Networks. We show how the corresponding metadata can be used in Future Internet networks and we present strategies to extend the model with existing semantic models.
