Abstract

This paper describes the software solution to the Semantic Web’s interoperation issue: the Knowledge Representation Language Interoperation Tool. Its fully implemented parsing and engine execution frameworks are presented, touching on how they can be easily used by developers for future expansion. The interoperation method (with the use of the Java Interoperation Object) is explained generally, as well as in the context of Positional-Slotted Knowledge (POSL) and Notation 3 (N3) representations. Additionally, details on the connections found between the relational and graph-oriented paradigms are shown via interoperation of POSL and N3. Finally, an example usage of the system is provided in order to convey the usefulness of the software in the Semantic Web.
