Abstract
Bioethics became a major field of discourse in medical education. This study aims to develop bioethics curriculum in nursing education for nursing students. The survey of nursing students and educators revealed that they think the bioethics curriculum should be a major requirement in the form of a two-credit, semester-long course open to all grades. The curriculum’s learning contents consist of 8 categories and 29 subcategories. The curriculum utilizes both lecture and debate for effective education. Lecture is used mainly to teach contents of theoretical nature, and debate is used for other case-based contents. The finding of this study will provide a basis of bioethics education program for nursing students.
