Multi-cell Dynamic Interference Coordination Algorithm in LTE Uplink System

Abstract

Considering the inter-cell interference problem between the neighboring cells for LTE uplink system, an uplink multi-cell dynamic interference coordination algorithm of full frequency reuse based on high interference indicator and overload indicator transmitted on the interface X2 is proposed. In this algorithm, the context of HII and OI information are taken into account in the frequency resource allocation and uplink transmitting power control algorithm to reduce the interference power. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm is superior to the traditional interference coordination algorithm and OI-based uplink power control algorithm in the cell throughput and user throughput performance due to its accurate estimation of inter-cell interference level.
