Abstract

The study focussed on the impact of a variety of phenomena on the development of the human psyche, of which family and social factors play a significant role, creating clear and visible archetypes as soon as during the formation of a child’s personality. These features can be evaluated quantitatively by means of planimetric contour tests. The main aim of the study was to conduct a clinical test of an experimental planimetric application, adapted for use in the EBM methodology. One of the purposes of the test was to answer the question whether factors inducing emotions subconsciously (such as music) can lead to a change in the measurable parameters of the tree diagram as strongly as events, which lead to stress in people in an obvious manner (such as examinations) and if there are any correlations between the type of the emotion applied and the tree diagram planimetric parameter change.

Results: there are correlations between the type of the emotion modifier used and the character of the planimetric parameter change , i.e. MB music led to significant changes in the P1-3 parameters and no changes to W1-4, while MH music led to significant changes in the P4-6 and W2-4 parameters of the tree test. In the case of the P1 parameter, unlike P2, significant changes were noticed in the PR1-2 and PO1-2 states, noticeable changes were seen among the P3-6 parameters in states PR1-2 and PO1-2, while changes occurred in state PO2 for parameter W1, in states PR1-2 and PO1 for parameter W3 and in states PR1-2 and PO1-2 for parameter W4.
