Abstract

In this paper, we propose the Funification tag system consisting of the experience tags, the description tags, and the requirement tags. The experience tags are constructed based on the words related to the body’s sense and experiences. The description tags are extracted from the description texts explaining the applications, and the description tags indicate the representative words for each category. The requirement tags are selected from the submitted user queries according to the high frequency. Although the words in the Funification tag system are 1/8 smaller than all words in the mobile application description texts, the coverage difference is less than 10% for the newly submitted queries, which are not related to Funification tag system construction. Furthermore, the proposed Funification tag-based interface can contributes to the increase of the number of the application downloads in the mobile application store.
