Abstract
By the analysis of network security access authentication technology in universities, this paper proposes the solution to security access authentication based on IPoE in the face of the reality of the outrunning of IPv4 addresses and general popularizing of IPv6 in universities. Having been implemented in Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, this scheme can meet the security access requirements for IPv4 /IPv6 dual-stack campus network of highly-dense users. Finally it discusses some extended application of the scheme in the practical situations.
