Abstract
In this paper, we introduced an intelligent red-green lamp control system of urban transportation for the single-line crossroad. At first, we found the function relationship between the pass-time and the car number. Then we got the data of drivers’ waiting endurance by field survey. We can get the current optimizing greenlight time by making use of the current number of cars, the function relationship between the pass-time and the car number as well as the drivers endurance degree. By changing the greenlight time automatically, we greatly solve the traffic jam problem, considering both the number of passed cars and the driver endurance degree.
