Zusammenfassung
Rechenzentren können als greifbares Internet verstanden werden. Sie führen alle großen Berechnungen und Dienste des Internets und Unternehmen auf kontrollierte Art und Weise durch. Dies führt zu der Tatsache, dass die Optimierung solcher Berechnungen in Rechenzentren geschehen muss, egal ob es sich um die Optimierung von Operationen, Ausführungsgeschwindigkeit, Energieverbrauch oder Umweltbelastung handelt. Rechenzentren haben in den letzten Jahren in Größe und Komplexität zugenommen. Dies hat zu einer entsprechenden Ausweitung des Energieverbrauchs geführt und dessen Überwachung verkompliziert. Erfolgreiche Modellierung von Rechenzentren ist ein wesentlicher Faktor für eine erfolgreiche Überwachung und Steuerung. Mit dem kontinuierlichen Wachstum in Größe und Komplexität, und mit dem Aufkommen von Virtualisierung, benötigen Rechenzentren bessere Tools, die die wachsenden Verwaltungsaufgaben ausführen können. Ein semantisches Modell kann hierbei eine zentrale Rolle spielen. In diesem Beitrag stellen wir die Grundlage für die Ausarbeitung dieses Modells vor, mit Berücksichtigung von Qualitätsaspekten wie Standardisierung, (Wieder-) Verwendbarkeit und Integrierbarkeit. Am Ende zeigen wir einen Teil des entwickelten Modells.
