Abstract
The teaching of Chinese negative words is a very important component in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In the research of Linguistic Typology, the contrastive investigations between Chinese Language and African Languages are very few. Malagasy Language is one representative of African Languages System. In this paper, we mainly focus on the negative words of the Chinese Language and the Malagasy Language by comparison and do the quantitative research on the base of empirical research in order to find out the types of translated errors. Therefore, the comparison and the analysis of the two languages can help to find out the deep causes of those errors. This is the key to the success in the teaching of vocabulary.
