The Lops-Approach: Towards New Syntheses of Algorithms

Abstract

In the past the LOPS-approach has been applied to synthesize algorithms for the computation of elements or subsets of a given set. This paper outlines how the basic ideas of LOPS can be used for the synthesis of algorithms for problems which are of a different nature.
