Zusammenfassung

Diese Arbeit präsentiert den intelligenten Gehhilferoboter Care-O-bot®. Care- O-bot® ist der Prototyp eines multifunktionalen Heim- und Pflegeassistenten, konzipiert zur Benutzung von älteren Personen. Der Roboter soll es diesen Personen ermöglichen, trotz verschiedener Gebrechen weiterhin eigenständig in ihrer heimischen Umgebung wohnen zu können. Um den Umgang mit der intelligenten Gehhilfe möglichst intuitiv zu gestalten, wurde die Form der Benutzung an konventionelle Gehhilfesysteme angepasst. Als Verbesserung gegenüber konventionellen Gehhilfesystemen sind intelligente Verhaltensweisen wie autonome Hindernisumfahrung und intelligente Bahnplanung integriert.
