Zusammenfassung
Es wird ein neuartiger Algorithmus zur rotations- und skaleninvarianten Texturerkennung vorgestellt. Das Verfahren basiert auf der Merkmalextraktion durch eine polar-logarithmisch angeordnete Gabor-Filterbank. Bedingt durch diese Art der Merkmalextraktion ist nicht nur die Klassifizierung ganzer Bilder, sondern auch die Segmentierung von Multi-Texturbildern möglich. Eine Eigenschaft, die Merkmalextraktionsverfahren basierend auf Integraltransformationen mit Entwicklungsfunktionen sehr großer oder unendlicher räumlicher Ausdehnung nicht besitzen. Zusätzlich zur reinen Klassifizierung bzw. Segmentierung liefert der Algorithmus sowohl das Maß der Rotations als auch der Skalierung jeder erkannten Textur. Die Zuordnung der extrahierten Merkmalvektoren zu den Prototypenvektoren der Datenbank geschieht mit Hilfe der nichtlinearen Symmetric-Phase-Only-Matched-Filterung. Die gute Funktionalität des vorgestellten Algorithmus wird anhand von Klassifizierungs- und Segmentierungsbeispielen verifiziert.
