Zusammenfassung

Diese Arbeit beschreibt einen hierarchischen Ansatz zur Detektion von Fingerspitzen in Grauwertbildern. Dabei wird nicht vorausgesetzt, daß der Benutzer Handschuhe trägt oder daß Markierungen an der Hand angebracht sind. Drei Anwendungen werden vorgestellt: die Detektion von Fingerspitzen in Aufnahmen der Hand aus unterschiedlichen Aufnahmewinkeln, die Erkennung von Zeigerichtungen und die Detektion aller 5 Fingerspitzen in einer Sequenz von Bildern.
