Kurzfassung

Detektion und Auswertung von Bewegung in Videobildfolgen ist ein zentrales Problem der Robot Vision. In dieser Arbeit wird ein PC-basiertes Bewegungssensor-System vorgestellt, das zur echt-zeitfähigen Bestimmung der Bewegungsvektoren im Bild einen MPEG Motion Estimation Prozessor verwendet. Um die bereits in Arbeiten anderer Gruppen als problematisch beschriebene Störanfälligkeit derart erzeugter Vektorfelder zu kompensieren, wird ein weiteres Rechenwerk zur vektorweisen Bestimmung von Konfidenzmaßen eingesetzt. Die daraus resultierende Verwendbarkeit des Systems für Robot Vision Anwendungen und die zu beachtenden Einschränkungen bei der Adaption von Verfahren aus der Literatur des optischen Flusses werden anhand exemplarischer Anwendungen und Experimente gezeigt.
