Computersimulation des Protein- und Fettstoffwechsels bei Tieren

Zusammenfassung

Ziel des Vorhabens ist die Analyse des Protein- und Fettstoffwechsels bei den landwirtschaftlichen Nutztieren von den einfachen Voraussagen auf der Ebene des Gesamtorganismus bis zu detailierten dynamischen Simulationen auf den Ebenen von Geweben und Zellen. Da diese Komplexität nicht mit einem Modell beschreibbar ist, wurde ein System von 12 verknüpfbaren Modellen entwickelt. Mit diesen Modellen kann eine schrittweise Simulation des Stoffwechsels in zwei Bereichen (Futter, Tier), auf drei Ebenen (Organismus, Gewebe, Zelle) und mit zwei Methoden (Bilanz: algebraische Gleichungen; Dynamik: Differentialgleichungen) abgewickelt werden.

Summary

The target of this project is the analysis of protein and fat metabolism in farm animals from the simple predictions on the level of whole animal to detailed dynamical simulations on the levels of tissues and cells. To describe this complexity with a single model is practically impossible, therefore a system of 12 compactible models have been developed. With these models it is possible to evolve a stepwise simulation of metabolism in two areas (Feed, Animal), at three levels (Organism, Tissues, Cells) and with two methods (Balance: algebraical equations; Dynamics: differential equations).
